Random character selection
In my dream tonight was a girl i went to school with. We were friendly, but not really close. Just a girl i talked to occasionally. At this point i havn't seen her for about fourteen years. I don't think about her at all. Not to sound mean, but she is just a person i went to school with that i never saw again afterwards like so many others.
And tonight my brain decided: 'Hey here is someone you haven't thought about in ages! Let's make her a character in your dream tonight.'
There are people that i am still in contact with from school or that i at least think about sometimes. They don't appear in my dreams. But this random girl does, 14 years after i have last seen her.
As if my brain rolled the dice which character to pick for tonights show.
Later i saw one of out cats sleeping. I wondered: Do they sometimes dream of other cats that they saw years ago?
Do they wake up and feel weird?
